Job Description
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 System Administrator primary responsibility will be to provide support for the system setup, configuration, upgrade, security administration, change management, monitoring, auditing and integrations for Microsoft Dynamics AX/ D365 Finance and Operations system components along with Azure administration.
Experience Required
· 4-6 Years
· 80% Expertise in D365 Administration and 20% in Azure
Required Software Knowledge and Skills essential to Job Functions:

Dynamics365 Administration:
  • Technical experience in      Dynamics AX 2012 / AX 2012 R2/R3 & MSD365FO Systems Administration and      Configuration.
  • Manage all levels of system      administration support for all D365 environments.
    • Manage upgrade (AX 2012/R2/R3       or previous versions to D365 FO) /update (Cumulative updates/ Platform       Updates) support.
    • Coordinate and perform       database refreshes (onprem to onprem / onprem to Azure SQL / Azure SQL to       onprem).
    • Deploy and manage lower and       higher environments both onprem & LCS.
    • Manage and maintain system       integrations to other internal and external systems.
    • Assist to maintain software       licenses, user access and security roles.
    • Manage and coordinate with       Microsoft through to resolution raised system issues.
· Good understanding of solution architecture and technical design within Dynamics AX & MS D365FO.
· Participating in the assessment, planning, system design, specifications and implementation of Dynamics AX & D365 improvements, advancements, customization and configurations
· Executing change control procedures to ensure all enhancements, upgrades and patches are thoroughly tested and planned before implementation in the production environment.
· Maintaining all related technical documentation; where applicable, developing and communicating company policies and procedures.
· Working with business units and internal teams to strengthen existing capabilities and user experience.
· Providing on-going support of D365 including resolution of application systems incidents, root cause analysis of problems, impact analysis and planning of proposed system upgrades and patches.
· Proven experience in utilizing the following reporting tools: Management Reporter, BI Cubes, SQL Server Report Builder, other available tools.
· Serve as the primary support for Microsoft Dynamics environment to include system backup, maintenance, patch updates, error logs, and release management.
· Manage and maintain user permissions, security roles and security teams.
· Participate in IT and cross-functional meetings to support staff and various team members to review upcoming Dynamic issues, items, and trainings. Address and resolve issues that team members inquire about.
· Manage system requests, assess viability and collaborate with IT resources to determine solutions.
· Administer configuration changes and execute tests to assure changes will not have an impact on the production system.
· Looking over and recording business requirements and decode into proper system requirement specifications.
· Promote safety awareness and follow safety procedures and policies.
· Prioritize and resolve issues/tickets based on business criticality and complexity and closely working with Microsoft support team on application patches and bugs.
· Attending weekly status meetings with management to review the status of open issues and prioritize them appropriately.
· Familiar with data management framework for Dynamics AX and/or MSD365FO.
· Microsoft certifications in Dynamics AX is a plus.
· Experience working with Dynamics CRM / D365 CE is a plus.
· Experience working with Devops is a plus.
Azure Administration:
· Working experience in implementing, monitoring and maintaining Microsoft Azure solutions, including major services related to Compute, Storage, Network and Security.
· Experience working with Azure technologies and services like (LCS, DevOps, PowerApps, etc).
· Deploying and Configuring Virtual Networks.
· Managing Public and Private IP addresses for your VMs and selected other Azure resources.
· Protecting Azure Active Directory accounts against compromise.
· Securing Data against unauthorized access
· Backing Up Data and making it efficient to restore when needed.
· Configuring long-term archival storage to maintain corporate compliance.
· Deploying VMs into Virtual Networks.
· Configuring VM for Optimum Cost, Performance, and Security.
· Backing up VMs and potentially providing Fail-over Recovery.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Information Technology, Computer      Science or equivalent work experience and/or education
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as system administrator  for Microsoft Dynamics & Azure.
