The Purview will assist with the Configuration and Maintenance of the Purview platform which is being utilised for DLP Management. The Purview Administrator will implement DLP Policies into the Purview Database and ensure that implementations are tested and work as designed before rolling out to the Live Policy.
Activities and Tasks.
  1. Configuration of      Compliance Permissions:
  2. The Purview      Administrator will be assigned the roles of Compliance Data Administrator      and Compliance Administrator
  3. The Purview Administrator      will ensure proper access control to prevent unauthorised access.
  4. Will configure      permissions for viewing content and performing management tasks in the      Purview compliance portal.
  5. Assess Current State of      Compliance:
  6. Understand the Bank’s      current compliance level.
  7. Identify areas that need      improvement or updates.
  8. Regularly evaluate      compliance risks and adapt to changing requirements.
  9. Enable Auditing:
  10. Monitor and track      compliance-related activities.
  11. Ensure compliance with      regulations and standards.
  12. Create Policies for      Compliance Alerts:
  13. Define policies to      detect potential compliance issues.
  14. Configure alerts for      violations (e.g., data leaks, policy breaches).
  15. Establish notifications      for timely action.
  16. Purview Configuration      Records: Maintain a record of all configurations entered into the Purview      tool for System Continuity purposes.
  17. Document existing      configurations to ensure a full configuration backup is maintained within      the records document.
  18. Effectively file and      maintain a database of Policies submitted by the Bank’s Business      Units/Project Team.

  19. System Administration      Excellence:
  20. Provide advice and      suggestions for the improvement of the platform.
  21. Review the existing      implementation and develop a Continual Service Improvement Plan so that      the Bank maximises its investment in the tool.
